  • The Calliope Café will be held Thursday April 3rd at 6:30 at the Israel Congregation in Manchester.

In order to participate students must be 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Students must sign up with Heidi Welch in the Health Clinic office or in the cafeteria.

All students must bring a signed permission form from a parent/guardian, and provide two forms of identification. The Blood Drive will take place in the gym from 9 am ­ 2 pm. Permission forms are available on the web site:

  • Applications and information about MedQuest, a summer program for students interested in exploring a career in a health profession are in the Guidance Office. Deadline to apply for the program is March 14, 2008. Also in the Guidance Office are applications for The Governor’s Institutes of Vermont, another summer opportunity for students interested in the Arts, Asian Cultures, Current Issues, Engineering, Math, Science. Deadline is March 6 to apply for these programs.

  • Seniors, if you are eligible to vote in today’s Primary and Town Meeting don’t forget to do so. Most polling places will be open until early evening.
  • Juniors sign up for an SAT Prep Class. A two-day Fiske Guide Workshop will be held on April 5 and 6 at BBA. For more information or to sign up, see Lynne Welsh or your school counselor in the Guidance Office.

·         Burr and Burton Academy Service Learning students will be conducting an on-campus Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 5, 2008. In order to participate students must be 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Students must sign up with Heidi Welch in the Health Clinic office or in the cafeteria.

All students must bring a signed permission form from a parent/guardian, and provide two forms of identification. The Blood Drive will take place in the gym from 9 am ­ 2 pm. Permission forms are available on the web site:

·         The collaborative presents a HS Peer Leadership training on March 14th and 15th at the first congregational church.  Join other High School students on an overnight full of food, games, workshops and laughter.  Contact the collaborative to request your registration forms.  Londonderry Office 824-4200 and Manchester office 362-3770.  Space is limited, so call today!
