Close-Up: Their will be an important meeting this Wednesday December 7th at
7:20 in Mr. Graf¹s room for all students participating in the Close-Up trip
to Washington DC this coming March.


China Exchange: Applications for the 2006 Trip and Exchange are available in
Mr. Graf¹s room. It is open to all freshman, sophomores and juniors.
Deadline for applications is Monday December 19th.



* 2005 HOLIDAY BALL

The holiday ball will be Friday, December 16, 2005 from 8-11 PM at the
Manchester Eagles. Tickets are $8.00 per person or $12.00 per couple for
pre-purchased tickets. If you buy at the door the cost will be $10.00 per
person. Guests must have prior approval from Mr. Prevost before purchasing
a ticket. Tickets will go on sale during all three lunches beginning
Monday, December 7, 2005 or purchase them in Mr. Prevost¹s office anytime.
Music will be provided by ³Denning Entertainment². The attire for the
evening will be semi-formal; those students that are not dressed appropriate
(per stated school policy) will not be permitted to attend. See Mr. Prevost
if you have any questions.

* Lt. Gov Brian Dubie will address students participating in Stratton's
Refuse to Use program and interested parents on Tuesday, December 6, in Burr
and Burton Academy's Riley Center for the Arts. Dubie will talk about
issues facing teens in Vermont today as well as how young people can respond
to the acute need for public service.


Freshmen and sophomores will attend from 5-6 pm.
Juniors and seniors are expected from 7-8 pm.
Parents may attend either session.
