* Lt. Gov Brian Dubie will address students participating in Stratton's
Refuse to Use program and interested parents on Tuesday, December 6, in Burr
and Burton Academy's Riley Center for the Arts. Dubie will talk about
issues facing teens in Vermont today as well as how young people can respond
to the acute need for public service.
Freshmen and sophomores will attend from 5-6 pm.
Juniors and seniors are expected from 7-8 pm.
Parents may attend either session.
Winter Athletes please check your practice schedule to choose an event time
that you can attend.

* UDU Drum Concert Tuesday Dec. 6 from 6pm-7pm at the Riley Center for the
Arts. All welcome at No charge. Audience participation encouraged!!
* Triad Fitness is offering a Self-Defense & Martial Arts class for Burr &
Burton Students for six weeks in January & February. The instructor,
Natasha Cebek, holds two black belts. Contact Mr. Sheets in the Rowland
Center for details & sign ups.
* New Driver's Ed Class beginning January 3, 2006. Tuesday and Thursday
evenings. Call Bill Herrmann at 375-6863 to reserve your spot now(this
class is almost full)
* Seniors: Sign up in Guidance to participate in Castleton¹s on the spot
admission program. They¹ll be here on Dec. 7 to interview, review
applications and give a decision all in one day.
* Broomball is now taking place on Saturday December 17th from 10-11:30pm at
Riley Rink. No skates needed and it is free! Bring your high school ID and
music.
