Auditions for Charlotte's Web April 2
Area students in grades 7 – 12 are invited to audition for parts in the Dorset Theatre Festival's production of Charlotte's Web set for early June. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 2, from noon – 4 pm at the Dorset Playhouse on Cheney Rd. in Dorset. Interested students should bring a short monologue or selection from something to read. It is not necessary to memorize the piece. If selected for a part in the beloved E.B. White story, students must be available for Saturday workshops in May led by Artistic Director, Dina Janis of the Dorset Theatre Festival. Beginning May 27, the student actors will join the professional cast of the play. Mark Shanahan of New York will be directing the production.

★Juniors! Sign up in the School & College Counseling Office for practice college interviews with college admission officers to be held on the afternoons of April 5 and 6 beginning at 12:30. Representatives from 6 colleges will be here to hold these 20-minute mock interviews. Deadline to sign up is this Thursday, March 31st.
★Juniors: The Deadline to register for the May 7 SAT at BBA is April 8.
★The BBA Junior Class prom will be held on May 7th at the Sun Bowl Lodge on Stratton Mountain from 8pm until midnight. Tickets are $20 per person and will be on sale starting Monday, April 18th.
★Important message for seniors: If you are applying for scholarships that have a deadline right before, or over break (for instance, the VFW and Manchester Lions Club Scholarships) you must fill out theTranscript Request Form and hand in your required materials to Mrs. Welsh by Wednesday, April 6th.
★Senior Parents On Wednesday, March 30, there will be a meeting in the cafeteria to further plan the senior send-off party in June. It's never too late to get in on the planning.
★D/E Block Field Study Students: Research Reports are due on Monday, March 28th.
★The art from the schools exhibit is now at SVAC. Come and check it out! The show will be up until April 7th.

Want to show off your literary skills, impress your friends and teachers and possibly win some cash? Start preparing for the BBA Poetry Out Loud contest to be held in the Hunter Seminar Room after school on St. Patrick's Day, Thursday, March 17th.
All you have to do is memorize a poem from this website: www.poetryoutloud.org
(or another poem pre-approved by any English teacher) and recite it in a compelling way on the day of the contest.
$100 goes to the first place winner, $50 to the second place winner, and $25 to the third place winner!
