Daily Announcements

SENIORS who have study halls on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, October 19 and 20, AND/OR next week, October 26 and 27, can meet with their school counselors in the Moritz lab during that block to work on college applications. Take advantage of these opportunities; DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!! 

The ACT will be administered at BBA on Saturday, October 23rd.

Astronomy Club will be meeting 7-8pm in Mr. Muench's classroom Tuesday night. We will be planning our first trip and a star party for an upcoming meteor shower --- looks like we may be able to get out and observe as well ---if the weather holds up.  See you there!

Picture retakes will be held on Wednesday October 20th at 9:30am in the Library.  If you are interested in having your picture retaken, or you did not have your picture taken on the first picture day, please sign up with Sue Towslee in the main office.  (order forms are available in the main office if you did not order pictures already). If you are retaking your picture, you must return their pictures to the photographer on the day of retakes.

New Drivers Ed class beginning October 21st, ending December 7th.....This will be the LAST CLASS FOR 2010.   The next class will start mid January 2011.  Class time is 5 to 7 pm Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Call Bill Herrmann@ 375-6863 for more information.

 The Performing Arts Department will be hosting a Calliope( Kah-Lahee-oh-pee) Cafe Thursday October 21st at 6:30 p.m. in the Rowland Center.  The admission charge of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students will provide you with snacks and entertainment featuring BBA students and special guest artists.  See Julie Freebern for more information.

SOPHOMORES:All sophomores are eligible to apply for the HOBY Leadership Seminar to be held at St. Michael's College, May 26-29. HOBY's purpose is to bring together a select group of sophomores who have demonstrated leadership ability. These students will have the opportunity to interact with groups of distinguished local, regional and internationally known leaders in business government, education and the professions to discuss present and future issues. Applications are in the school and college counseling office (see Mrs. Welsh) and MUST be returned by Wednesday, October 27th.

The library will be closed all day Thursday, Oct. 21st, as we are hosting a conference.  Please plan accordingly.
