★Junior Boys: Applications for Green Mountain Boys State sponsored by the American Legion Department of Vermont are available in the School and College Counseling Office. Boys State is a five-day summer program held at Lyndon State College in late June, the purpose of which is to provide citizenship training with emphasis on the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship.. Please see your school counselor if you are interested. Deadline to submit applications is April 15.

★Juniors: Want to ace your college interview? Sign up asap in the School and College Counseling Office for an individual, practice interview with a visiting college representative. Interviews are available on April 7 and 8. Learn what to expect in a college interview and gain confidence!
★Students who are interested in learning more about the various programs at the Career Development Center in Bennington--a visit has been planned on April 6th from 8:00-11:00. Please see your School Counselor to sign up and get the permission form. All forms are due back to the School and College Counseling office by Friday, April 2nd.
★Students interested in applying for student leadership positions should complete applications and return them to the box outside of Ms. Hyatt's office by April 5th. Positions include: freshmen mentor, BBA ambassador, policy advisory committee member, Manchester Youth Commission, service learning team leader, and class offficers. Applications are available in Ms. Hyatt's office, through student advisors, and have been sent electronically to your school email address. Now is the time to get involved!

★"Get rid of those college interview jitters!" Practice College Interviews for Juniors will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 7 and 8 between 1:30 and 4:00. Appointments will be scheduled with college admission representatives who will give feedback on your interviewing techniques. Sign up in the College Counseling Office BY Thursday, April 1st.
