★ Seniors, one of the rights that you earn when you turn 18 is the right to vote. Some of you are already 18. If you are or if you will turn 18 before March 2 you will be able to vote for the first time and that will be in your towns Town Meeting. The only other requirements are that you are an American citizen and a resident of the town you will be voting in. You may have registered when you got your adult drivers license. If you are not registered or even unsure if you are stop by my room (top floor of the Seminary Building) and I can give you the application form. The deadline for this is this Wednesday Feb 27 at 5:PM.
Your towns will have many important items on their ballots- electing town officials, numerous spending items, voting on school budgets including that of Burr and Burton. So please-if you can, get registered and vote at your town meeting. Encourage your parents to do the same.
