2010 HOLIDAY BALL
The holiday ball will be Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 8-11 PM at the Manchester Eagles.  Tickets are $8.00 per person or $12.00 per couple for pre-purchased tickets.  If you buy at the door the cost will be $10.00 per person.  Guests must have prior approval from Mr. Prevost before purchasing a ticket.  Tickets will go on sale during all three lunches beginning Wednesday, January 13, 2010- or purchase them in Mr. Prevost's office anytime.  Music will be provided by "Elite Entertainment".  The attire for the evening will be semi-formal.  Additionally, those students that are not dressed appropriate (per stated school policy)  will not be permitted to attend. SEMI-FORMAL – NO JEANS NO BOOTS AND NO T-SHIRTS.  See Mr. Prevost if you have any questions. 
Refer to the Student/Parent Handbook (Pages 40-41) for Dance Rules.

Join the Plunge!!  Special Olympics will have an informational table set up during lunch on Friday for anyone who is interested in joining the Frosty Dogs in jumping into Lake Paran in Bennington on Jan. 30th or who would like to just make a donation.

Egyptian Kingdom Tour now accepting applications for April 2011 tour. See Dale Spring in the science office for information.

American Redcross Babysitter's Training Class:Saturday, January 30th, 2010. 9 a.m.-3 p.m.at the East Pownal Fire Dept.,Rte. 346 South Stream Rd.,

Pownal, VT.  Students 11-15 years old will get the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. The course will also teach you how to be a good role model, make decisions, solve problems, and keep children safe, how to handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents, and how to write resumes and interview for jobs. Call 802-254-2377 to sign up. Course fee is $45

Students planning to go to Ecuador or Costa Rica this summer--meeting Friday morning, 7:35 in Mr. Nolan's room.

The next Driver's Ed. class Starts January 7th and ends on February 18th.  The classes are held on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5 to 7 pm.  Call Bill Herrmann at 375-6863.
