Come and support the 7 student directed and produced One Act plays in the performing arts departments One Act Festival on Sat Feb 28th at 6:30pm in the Riley Center.  There is a suggested $5-$10 donation

The last Broomball Fever night is this Saturday! This week's theme: Anything Goes!!! Come wreak havoc or just hang out with your friends! This week Broomball Fever is later than usual, the time is 11PM-1AM. We'll be going strong all night!!! Door prizes & cake! Job Opportunity:  Basketball Referees Needed!  2 Students that can Ref 3rd and 4th grade girls basketball Jamboree on Saturday, March 7th from 9-3 at the Currier Memorial School in Danby.  $100 each for the day! Must know a little basketball, rules for this age group will be provided.  Please contact Lisa Johnson at 293-5191 ASAP.  Thanks!

 MedQuest offers students currently enrolled in Grades 9.10 and 11 a six-day exposure to the range of health career opportunities available and an introduction to life on a college campus. They are looking for students interested in health professions, mathematics, science and technology.

 The Governor's Institutes of Vermont are week or two-week long programs in Arts, Asian Cultures, Engineering, Current Issues & Youth Activism, Information Technology, Mathematical Sciences, Science & Technology.  Applications are due to the School & College Counseling Office by 3/15.

Valentine's Day Flower Sale: The freshman class will be selling Valentine's Day Carnations in the Cafeterias during Lunch this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The International Student College Workshop series starts this Friday, at 12:45, in the Hunter Seminar Room. All Junior ESL students must attend. Any other international students planning to attend U.S. colleges are welcome.

Rustic Pathways will be visiting Burr and Burton on Thursday, Feb 05 in the Cafeteria to share its summer travel programs as well as its new Gap year programs.  Rustic Pathways specializes in enriching student lives through cultural travel, focusing on community service, adventure travel, and language training in our various programs.  In its 26th year of operation, they have expanded to many of the most exciting locations in the world, including  Thailand, Costa Rica, The Fiji Islands, Peru, China, India, Tanzania, Australia, New Zealand, Mongolia, Vietnam, and the United States.  A representative will be  will be on hand to answer questions about the Community Service, Adventure, Language and Life Skills programs offered.  Work with children on rewarding service projects in rural villages around the world or work on Elephant conservation, Giant Panda rescue or Dolphin research.  Visit some of the globe's most amazing sites such as Machu Picchu and Angkor Wat.  Push your limits on adventure programs such as summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro, rafting through the Amazon and surfing in Costa Rica.    Rustic Pathways also offers graduating seniors a range of customizable programs for students looking to gain hands-on experience on Gap programs.
