Attention Sophomores:  Hoby Applications are due on Wednesday.

If you have a Friday detention this week you have a great opportunity to not serve, but you must act soon. Please see Mr. Cirelli ASAP for details before Thursday.

The performing arts department will host Calliope Cafe Friday November 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the Rowland Center.

Seniors...the parking lot behind the gym will be closed this Wed. the  28th to make room for guests visiting BBA on this day.  Please use the Upper Parking Lots.

Have you ever dreamed of lighting the red lamp.... crossing the blue line and ripping a slap shot top shelf... or wonder what it is like play the world's fastest game?  If yes, The BBA boys and girls Hockey Clubs need you!  In an effort to offset a major increase in the cost of ice time they are proud to bring back the 2nd annual quest for the Athletic Cup.  Game date is Saturday, November 14th at the Riley Rink at 7pm.  No hockey experience is needed.  We will set you up with all the stuff.  See Mr. Herrington (3rd floor seminary Bldg) to reserve a roster spot.  The Faculty Dream team is looking to put together a two game win streak, help put an end to this and restore pride to the BBA student body.

Picture Retakes are scheduled for Tuesday November 3rd.  If you did not have your picture taken during the first picture day or you are unhappy with the pictures you had taken, please come and sign up in the main office for a retake. 

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program
for high school students is underway. If you are a student who has made a difference in your community over the past year through your volunteerism, you could win $6,000 and a trip to Washington, DC, as well as national recognition for your efforts.

Once you have completed your application, print it out, sign it, have a parent sign it, and bring it Ms. Hyatt by November 2, 2009.

Hey all you writers and artists! Time has come to start submitting work for the next Between Ranges Literary Journal. If you have any Poems, Short Stories, Photographs, etc, please e-mail them to Ellie Turner at eturner@burrburton.org or come find me some time during school. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: DEADLINE, November 2nd!
The process for the Elks Scholarship has been streamlined. Unfortunately, that has also shortened the deadline to November 2nd. Applications are online and in the School and College Counseling Office.
