If you have not yet turned in your computer usage form, please do so by Wednesday Oct. 7th.  You can drop these off in Mr. Morrison's classroom.

DEC - Digital Entertainment Club - Monday afternoons from 2:30 - 4:00
Calling all Gamers!!!  Bring your XBoxes, Play Stations or Wii's to Mr. Morrison computer lab (Smith Center) and hook them up to the best audio/video system on campus for the ultimate gaming experience!  Or just hang out with friends and surf the Net.
Come when you like - don't when you don't.

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program
for high school students is underway. If you are a student who has made a difference in your community over the past year through your volunteerism, you could win $6,000 and a trip to Washington, DC, as well as national recognition for your efforts.
In order to apply, go to http://spirit.prudential.com or www.principals.org/prudential (or call 877-525-8491 toll free for more information).
Click on "apply now" and follow the directions.
Once you have completed your application, print it out, sign it, have a parent sign it, and bring it Ms. Hyatt by November 2, 2009.

Thursday October 15th come jam out to some great music played by student bands at the BBA run by National Honor Society. From 5-8 various student bands will be playing outside of the gym lobby. Come sit on the hill, listen to some music, and enjoy apple cider, and baked goods


There will be a brief informational meeting for those interested in joining the digital photography club this Wednesday Oct. 7th at 3pm in the Hunter Seminar room.


The Performing Arts Department will be hosting a Calliope Cafe Friday October 23rd at 6:30 p.m. in the Rowland Center.
All interested performers should sign up for an audition time with Julie Freebern by Wednesday October 14th.

 

Hey all you writers and artists! Time has come to start submitting work for the next Between Ranges Literary Journal. If you have any Poems, Short Stories, Photographs, etc, please e-mail them to Ellie Turner at eturner@burrburton.org or come find me some time during school. If you'd like to look at any of the old Between Ranges, go to Mrs. Wright's room on the first floor of the seminary building. Thank you!

   

Interested in traveling to Ecuador next summer?  If you will have completed Spanish IV or higher see Mr. Nolan for more information.  Remember that the deadline to register for Rowland Fund financial aid is October 16.

 

Bromley Season pass applications are now available outside the main office



The annual Breast Cancer - Save Lids to Save Lives drive is on.  For every pink lid sent in by December 31, 2009 - Yoplait® will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® - up to $1.5 million.  Lid collection boxes are located in the Library and Cafeteria. 


The SAT will be administered at BBA on Saturday, October 10th. Students should bring registrations tickets, student IDs, pencils and calculators to the Rowland Center by 7:45am.

Juniors need to sign up and bring the $15 PSAT registration fee to Lynne Welsh in the School and College Counseling Office by October 6th. Checks should be made out to BBA.

Junior Parent College Night is Wednesday, October 7, at 7 p.m. in the Rowland Center

French trip to Guadeloupe

French Club starting
"French Club is starting up at BBA, come be a part of the planning!  Our first task is to get ready for National French Week in November, and then plan activities for the rest of the year.  We will be meeting in the French room (Rowland 226) on Thursdays from 2:30-3:15pm, starting this Thursday."
