Last year I had the pleasure of training for my first sprint triathlon -- the Vermont Sun -- along with several high school students. Being able to complete the race and help others accomplish their goals was a life changing event. After hearing about my experience last year, Rachel Jenks quickly jumped on board to train for this summer's race. Everyone( including faculty and staff) is invited to train with us starting the week after exams in the gym after school from 3-4 Mon – Thurs. No prior experience needed. 2009 HOLIDAY BALL
The holiday ball will be Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 8-11 PM at the Manchester Eagles. Tickets are $8.00 per person or $12.00 per couple for pre-purchased tickets. If you buy at the door the cost will be $10.00 per person. Guests must have prior approval from Mr. Prevost before purchasing a ticket. Tickets will go on sale during all three lunches beginning Monday, January 12, 2009 or purchase them in Mr. Prevost's office anytime. Music will be provided by "Elite Entertainment". The attire for the evening will be semi-formal; those students that are not dressed appropriate (per stated school policy) will not be permitted to attend. SEMI-FORMAL – NO JEANS, NO BOOTS AND NO T-SHIRTS. See Mr. Prevost if you have any questions.
