SENIORS

 

Castleton on the Spot interviews will be conducted here at BBA on Tuesday, December 9 from 10 a.m. until 2:30.

Seniors wanting to receive an immediate decision on their application to Castleton can do so right here at Burr and Burton.  Students submit a completed application to their counselor by Dec. 3rd and then interview with a Castleton admission officer on the 9th.  The application fee is waived for this program.  Students should sign up with their School and College Counselor ASAP to take advantage of this program.

 

ALL STUDENTS

 

Rock Climbing Club - We will be traveling to Rutland this Thursday, December 4th at 2:45.  Please meet in Mr. Kelly's room.  We will return by 6:30.  If you have any questions or are interested in joining the club, please see Mr. Kelly.

 

There will be a meeting Wednesday at 2:30, in Ms Silver's room, for students traveling to Costa Rica in April.

 

Today is the LAST day to get in your Refuse to Use paperwork, checks, photos etc. You can either hand it in to your grade rep or do it online. This will be collected at 2:30 tomorrow by the Collaborative and after tomorrow they will accept NO MORE paperwork. If you do not have all your paperwork in by tomorrow you will not get a Stratton pass.

 

Open gym for girls lacrosse begins this Thursday from 6-7AM. Bring a stick, goggles, and a mouth guard. See Coach Miceli for more details.

 

BLAMO will have its weekly meeting Wednesday at 2:30pm in Mr. Muench's room. Come by and help plan for Broomball Fever, Open Mic, and TV/Movie nights! Animal Crackers provided.

 

This Saturday, Dec. 6th at 9:30PM at Riley Rink, BLAMO & Our Voices Exposed presents another night of Broomball Fever! The theme for this Saturday is Fairy Tails, so come dressed as your favorite animal or favorite fairy tale character. Broomball ends promptly at 11PM, so have your ride waiting! See you there!

 

The Collaborative Event Planner service learning team will have a meeting during advisory this Thursday. Please meet with your advisor in the library.

 

There will be a meeting of the Chinese Culture Club after school on Tuesday,December 2nd in Ms. Diaz's room.

 

Tickets for the Performing Arts Winter Concert on Thursday, December 11th at 7:30 p.m. in the Riley Center are available at www.bba.ticketjunior.com

 

All girls interested in playing field hockey next year there will be a meeting in Julie Fifield's room Tuesday, Dec. 2nd at 2:45.

*Dale Spring's advisory will again be fulfilling holiday wishes for 100 children this year. If you would like to be provide a gift for a child......please see Mrs. Spring second floor of the science building..* or look for one of our elves, they will be the ones wearing reindeer antlers or a Santa hat...

 If you have missed one of your three scheduled events you will need to attend the Make Up Event that is scheduled for December 9th from 3:30 - 5:30 at Long Trail. You will not receive your pass until you attend your 3rd event. If you plan to attend this Make Up event you need to tell your grade level representative that you intend to do so.
