Registration has begun for the 2nd annual "Lose the Shoes" barefoot tournament at Applejack Field on October 18th. Get a group of 5 players together (must be coed) and form a team--$10/player.Come out and support the Grassroot Soccer organization's efforts to KickAIDS in Africa.

On November 8 the BBA Faculty Hockey Dream Team of Excellence will face off against the Student Dream Team of Destruction. Featured participants already include: Mark the Tasmanian Devil Tashjian and Steve Harleypuck Houghton. Ski Sale Food Drive October 9-13
In Manchester under the tent at Stewarts Shoppes will be the annual ski sale for the Community Food Cupboard. This is a great opportunity to get ski equipment very inexpensively and support a worthy cause. Anyone buying a new ski package will get FREE BOOTS- FREE BINDINGS- FREE POLES and a FREE LIFT TICKET. Please bring a food donation also for our Food Cupboards shelves. Hours will be 9am - 6pm every day. This will be the only sale this year in the Manchester region.
The Performing Arts Department will be hosting a Calliope Café night on October 30 at 6:30 pm in the Scranton Room, and there will be an admission charge. See Julie Freebern for more information if you are interested in performing.
