Ski Sale Food Drive
October 9-13 in Manchester Vermont under the tent at Stewarts Shoppes will be the annual ski sale for the Community Food Cupboard. This is a great opportunity to get ski equipment very inexpensively and support a worthy cause.
Anyone buying a new ski package will get FREE BOOTS- FRE BINDINGS- FREE POLES and a FREE LIFT TCIKET. Please bring a food donation also for our cupboards shelves.
Hours will be 9am - 6pm every day. This will be the only org / school/ club sale this year in the Manchester Region.
The Performing Arts Department will be hosting a Calliope Café night on October 30 at 6:30 pm in the Scranton Room, there will be an admission charge. See Julie Freebern for more information if you are interested in performing.

Job Posting-2 students wanted for running a British Dessert Company booth at the Hildene Craft Show this weekend (October 3-5). Must be sociable and know how to make change. Pay is $8 per hour.

Woman’s Self Protection Awareness Class at Triad Fitness Center with Sensei Jon Bottoms. This class empowers women by building their mental and physical confidence with a practical application of martial arts techniques and common sense thinking. Class runs from October to July. Includes a full year gym membership, jump rope, gloves, nutrition and fitness classes. Stop by Triad Fitness Center for more information or call 366-1000.
All the clothing left on the floors of the boys and girls locker room will be removed on Friday. If any of this clothing belongs to you please pick it up before Friday.

SENIORS: Important graduation information was sent home last week. Deadline to turn in cap and gown and diploma information form and fee is October 15!
SENIORS taking the SAT on Oct. 4 should report to the Rowland Center between 7:45 and 8:00 am. Test room doors will close at 8:15am. Bring #2 pencils. Scientific or graphing calculators are recommended for the regular SAT and required for the Math Subject Test. Please do not bring cell phones into the test room.
JUNIORS: DEADLINE FOR the PSAT SIGN-UP is Monday, October 6th. Please sign up and turn in payment in the School and College Counseling Office. If you have signed up, but NOT paid yet, you need to do so!
JUNIOR PARENT COLLEGE NIGHT is Tuesday, October 7th at 7 pm in the Rowland Center.
SOPHOMORES will take the PLAN test on October 15th. The $10 test fee is due to your advisor by October 6th.

The Breast Cancer/Bennington Cancer Center Service learning group is now collecting Yoplait yogurt lids for local fundraising efforts through their Save Lids to Save Lives® program. Just return the washed lids to the pink boxes located in the cafeteria and library. For every lid collected, Yoplait will donate 10¢ to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to $1.5 million!
Burr and Burton’s Creative Arts Magazine is looking for artists, photographers, and writers to submit their work to the Fall issue of Between Ranges. While you may submit a print copy of your work, we prefer a digital copy. Please give your submissions or email them to me Campbell Halligan or to any English teacher.
