Winter Sports Equipment Sale

The Burr and Burton Booster Club will hold their annual Winter Sports Equipment Sale on Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7, from 10 am to 4pm in the school¹s gym.Once again there will be name brand items for sale including skis, bootsand snowboards, snowshoes, accessories and clothing. All proceeds will benefit the Burr and Burton athletic program. For more information, contact Deb Madden 362-5818.

  • Our friends at Yoplait® are helping with our local fundraising efforts through their Save Lids to Save Lives® program. From September 1st through October 31st, Pink Yoplait lids collected in our local community will support our VT/NH Susan G. Komen for the Cure Affiliate, and we’re asking for your help. Here’s how:

1.         Start collecting pink lids from Yoplait® products.

2.         Wash them.

3.         Return them to the pink and white boxes located in the cafeteria, library, and with Mrs. Towslee in the front office of the Seminary building.

4.         We will pick them up and ship them back to Yoplait.

For every lid collected, Yoplait will donate 10¢ to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to $1.5 million!

  • The first Scholars’ Bowl meeting will be Friday, October 5 in the Library right after school.
  • The Freshman class will meet in the Riley Center Thursday during advisory to hear class officer speeches

  • Vermont Technical College is having a full day, hands-on  workshop for high school girls interested in learning more about careers in the trades and technology fields (such as architecture, engineering, communications,  forestry, or woodworking) on October 11th.  Any students interested in learning more about the specific details of this workshop, please see your School and College Counselor this week.
  • Bromley season pass applications are now available in the main office. Pick one up before October 10th to save money.
  • Boys Basketball open gyms will resumed yesterday Sept 23 and will run every following Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:30. 
  • Any students interested in serving on the policy advisory board should contact either Mr. Cirelli or Mr. Prevost ASAP. There is a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 26th at 2:45 in Mr. Cirelli’s office.
