Summer Camps and Required Reading

Information on Summer camps and required reading lists for upcoming courses has been posted in the Summer Information Center.

IMPORTANT FALL SPORTS INFORMATION

August 12th Mandatory Fall Sports Parent and Athlete Information Night 6:00 in the following locations:

Football- Cafeteria

Boys Soccer-Hunter Seminar room

Field Hockey-Dave Miceli’s classroom Seminary Building (room # 34)

X-Country- Wellness classroom off from the gym lobby

Girls Soccer-Riley Center

August 13^th All fall sports begin practice.

You should receive information in the mail in late July or early August from the coaches:

Football: Matt Kujovsky

Girls’ Soccer: Dan DeForest

Boys’ Soccer: Peter Mull

Field Hockey: Julie Fifield

X-Country: Dave Curtis

All incoming freshmen and transfer students will need a physical exam prior to participating; all returning students must have had a physical exam within the last year.

Physical forms and permission forms can be downloaded from the schools web site, burrburton.org. These completed forms must be brought to the meeting on August 12^th or mailed (attn. Tammy Shields) to the school before August 12^th.

Returning Burr & Burton students must be in attendance at the first day of practice and all juniors must attend the varsity tryouts.

All returning Burr & Burton students must have the required number of community service hours or service learning projects before the first practice.

Sophomores- 2 service learning projects completed.

Juniors- 25 hrs.

Seniors- 37.5 hrs.
