Daily Announcements

  • There will be a bus leaving from the faculty parking lot at 2:45 to take students down to Applejack for the boys soccer game. This bus is a drop off only. Please make arrangements to be picked up at Applejack after the game.
  • DANCE TEAM – Important informational meeting for anyone planning to join Dance team this year – Tuesday at 2:45 – in Mrs. Miceli’s room (2nd floor of the Rowland Center).  If you can’t make the meeting, come see Mrs. Miceli some time on Tuesday!

·         To the Composting Service Learning Group! In addition to meeting every Tuesday mornings, we will also meet every Thursdays at 2:45 outside of the library. In order to complete service learning requirements these meetings are mandatory! Please email or call Mara for details.

  • All seniors meet in the cafeteria during advisory on Tuesday for an important class meeting.
  • Congratulations to Lizzy Farley for winning the Vermont Foreign Language Association’s poster contest.  In addition to winning a cash prize, Lizzy’s poster entitled “Language is Power” will be made into gift cards and T-shirts.
  • Students and Employees join a new club called “Threads.”   Threads will be a club to share and/or learn about various fiber arts, any craft that involves thread or yarn, such as knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, cross stitch and sewing among others.  It’s an opportunity to work on projects for yourself or for others and make the world a better place, one stitch at a time.

Sign up in the cafeteria and/or join Merlyn Miller and Cindy Herrmann, Advisors In the Library starting Tuesday October 30, 2007 at 3:30 for an hour each week and work on that special something.

  • Stratton Season pass applications now available in the main office.
  • Reminder:   On November 6th at 5:30pm in the Hunter Seminar Room there will be a Parent Information Night regarding “BBA Curriculum: Today and Tomorrow.” Discussion will be led by Jen Hyatt, Dean of Studies. Please remember to return your surveys ASAP!  Thank you.
  • Boys open gym schedule, Tuesday 10/30 4-6pm, and Thursday 11/1 4-6pm.
  • Anyone interested in going on the Medieval Times trip December 1st should see Mrs. Freebern ASAP to reserve a space.
  • ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED IN FIELD STUDY FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER:  Field Study Applications are due to Mr. Napolitano by Friday, November 16th.  Application forms are available through Mr. Napolitano or the Guidance Office.
