  • Seniors who did not attend an August College Application workshop MUST attend a college workshop with the Guidance Counselors on Thursday, Sept. 6th from 2:45 to 4:15 in the Hunter Seminar Room. Senior Advisors have the list of those senior names.
  • Next Monday, September 10, is the registration deadline for the October 6th SAT which is held here at BBA.

·         "REMINDER to all students wishing to audition for either the fall play or the Triple Threat Theatre Troupe:  you MUST attend the 3-day Performing Arts Workshop (PAC) this week, Sept. 5-7, on the stage, Wed. & Thurs. 3-5 and Friday, 1-3.  Auditions will then be held the following Monday and Tuesday.

  • ALL FIELD STUDY STUDENTS

1)      Meeting with Mr. Napolitano in the Hunter Seminar Room this Friday, September 7th.  Report there the block you have Field Study.

2)      Field Study Agreement Forms are due this Friday, September 7th.

3)      Letter to the Editor Assignment is due on Monday, September 10th (A, B and C blocks only)

4)      Field Study Work Experience Plans (Goal Sheets) are due on Friday, September 14th

  • Any band or chorus student interested in auditioning for the Green Mountain Music Festival should see Julie Freebern this week.
  • The first Calliope Café will be held at the Manchester Country Club Friday October 5th at 7:00.  All interested performers should see Julie Freebern.
  • The LIBRARY will be closed Tuesday, September 11 for school-wide picture day!  If your class is regularly scheduled to meet in the Library please go to the classroom.  If you have a free block please go to the cafeteria.

Be sure to come to the Library for your scheduled picture time!

  • Maple Leaf Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk needs volunteers to work the water stations for the race on Saturday, September 8, 2007.  The race begins at 9:00.  To volunteer, please call Joe Charbonneau @ 384-2393.
  • Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning Presents THE CHANGING CLIMATE: A CONVERSATION WITH BILL MCKIBBEN and JOHN MCCLAUGHRY ON THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF THE ENVIRONMENT on Tuesday, September 11, 7:00 pm, Riley Center for the Arts, Burr and Burton Academy, Manchester , VT.

  • For everyone who has signed up to be a cross age mentor in Peter Zimmer’s service learning group there will be a brief meeting on  Monday Sept. 10th directly after school in the Clinic in the basement of the Seminary building.
  • There will be a fan bus going to Mt. Anthony today for the girls soccer tournament. The bus will leave at 4:15 from the circle in front of the gym and will return between 7:45-8:15. The cost is $4.00 which includes your admission to the game. Please sign up with Sue Towslee in the front office to reserve your seat and pick up permission slip.
