  • Open gym for boys lacrosse this Sunday 6:30-7:30
  • ALL STUDENTS: Doughnuts are being sold during lunches all week for you to send to anyone you'd like on Valentine's Day. You can write a note along with it and they will be delivered next Wednesday, February 14th during D Block. They cost $1.00 and the money will support the Senior Class.
  • The Social Awareness Club will meet every Wednesday right after school in Mrs. Niles room on the third floor of the Smith Center.

  • It’s that time, there will be a new Drivers Ed. class beginning on  March 15th.  Classes are held on  Tuesdays and Thursdays 5 to 7 pm.  THIS CLASS IS FILLING UP, so do not delay, call today Bill or Cindy Herrmann at 375-6863.
  • All students traveling to Louisiana in February – There is a mandatory Student and Parent meeting at 6:00 pm on Monday February 12th in Mr. Sheets room on the second floor of the Rowland Center.  You must be present with at least one parent or guardian.  If you cannot attend please see Mr. Sheets or Mrs. Halnon by Friday.
  • The "Be Hip HOP" Service learning group will be meeting on Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 this week.
  • TO ALL SENIORS: We need pictures for the senior CD, we are trying to make this CD more then just pictures from this year, but of pictures from kindergarten graduation, your birthday party in 6th grade, 8th grade graduation, all the times you hung out with your friends, we want any pictures you have.  They can be hard copy or digital. The more pictures we get the better the CD will be.  Please Email them to Kaitlyn Wiley, Sarah Johnson or Stacy Fielding at our school accounts. Thanks.
  • The Dorset Historical Society invites you to join them in a community reading of works by local poet Walter Hard on February 10th at 2PM.

You are invited to come read, listen and/or discuss the poetry of one of our local writers. This is the first in an upcoming series of programs designed to engage the community with our literary past and present. For more information please call the DHS at 867-0331.

  • Don’t Forget!  Friday February 9th is the Valentines Black and White dance from 8-11pm.   Buy tickets during lunch in the cafeteria.  $6.00 per person and $8.00 per couple.  Tickets will be $8.00 if purchased at the door.
