Boys Claim DII Lax Crown !

BBA captured the Division II high school boys lacrosse state championship with a 14-6 victory over Hartford on Saturday.

Brendan McCarthy contributed three goals and one assist and Andrew Tarnas-Raskin picked up two goals and two assists in the win.

The Rutland Herald covered the title game.

Directions on how to get to the field:
From I-89: Take Exit 14W into Burlington. Stay in far-right lane. Just past Sheraton and stop light, bear right at East Avenue/Spear Street exit, in lane for Spear Street. Take immediate left around jug handle, go through traffic light, which will take you onto Spear Street. Drive approximately 1/2 mile to second Patrick Gym entrance on right. The field is located to the left of the Gutterson Fieldhouse.

Commencement Rehearsal

 

When: Thursday, June 8, 11 a.m. sharp

 

Where: Riley Center

 

**The Senior Class Picture will take place immediately after the commencement rehearsal on Observatory Hill.

 

Please Note: You must attend this rehearsal or you will not be permitted to take part in Commencement Exercises. 

 

Commencement Exercises

 

All seniors must arrive by 4:45 and meet in the Scranton Room of the Rowland Center to prepare to line up.  Please park in the upper parking lot.  Do not park behind the Seminary Building or behind the E.H. Henry Gymnasium.

 

All school rules and regulations will be strictly enforced in addition to the specific rules applicable to the Commencement Ceremony.

 

  1. Males must wear long trousers (no jeans) and a shirt and tie.  Females must wear a dress, skirt or appropriate slacks (no jeans or shorts).
  2. Regular shoes must be worn (no flip flops or gym shoes).
  3. Sunglasses may not be worn during the commencement ceremony.
  4. Caps and gowns are to be kept in their original condition; this means free of any changes.  If they are altered in any way, you will not be able to participate in the ceremonies.
  5. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate for this occasion.
