SAE Engineering Scholarships
Eligibility: Seniors with intent to pursue engineering or related science
Award: $1,000 to $10,000
Deadline: December 1

SOF Foundation Inc. Scholarships
Eligibility: Seniors with GPA of 2.7 or higher, financial need, applying to
2 or 4 yr college
Award: $1,000
Deadline: December 1

AXA Achievement Scholarship
Eligibility: satudents who set and reach ambitious goals, demonstrate drive,
determination and ability tosucceed in college, respect for self, family and
community
Award: $10,000
Deadline: December 15, 2006

2007 Sam Walton Community Scholarship
Eligibility: Seniors, financial need, academic record, SAT/ACT scores,
community involvement, work experience, extra-curricular activities
Award: $1,000.00
Deadline: January 12, 2007

2007 Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
Eligibility: seniors, employment, community service, leadership, financial
need
Award: $4,000 to $60,000

Vermont JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: Seniors with possible need for further financial assistance for
college, university or vocational school
Award: $1,000
Deadline: January 20, 2007

The National Co-op Scholarship Program
Eligibility: GPA of 3.5 or better, must be accepted at a participating
college (see folder in Guidance)
Award: $5,000
Deadline: February 15, 2007

The Freeman Nurse Scholars Program
Eligibility: high school grad seeking nursing degree at one of Vermont¹s
five schools of nursing, GPA of 3.0, commitment to practice in VT for two
years following graduation
