  • Senior Class:  Please remain after assembly for a yearbook meeting.
  • Equestrian Club meets Wednesday October 4th at 7 AM in Mrs. Muench’s room. Anybody interested in being in the Equestrian Club should attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend and would like to join, please find Mrs. Muench before Wednesday.
  • Next Driver's Ed class begins November 2 and will end December 21.  Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5 to 7 pm.  Call Bill Herrmann at 375-6863 or email mrbill57@adelphia.net
  • Burr and Burton Academy will hold its Third Annual Grandparents Day on Friday, October 13. The day¹s schedule offers grandparents a glimpse into the day-to-day life of their grandchildren at high school. They are invited to participate in a variety of different workshops covering a wide variety of subjects. Their visit concludes with a buffet lunch in the Rowland Center cafeteria with their grandchildren.   • Calliope Cafe Concert Series Begins October 11 Burr and Burton Academy¹s Performing Arts Department and the Meetinghouse at the First Congregational Church are teaming up this fall to present the Calliope Cafe Concert Series, featuring community musicians, poets, dancers and actors. The first concert will be held on October 11 at 6:30 pm at the First Congregational Church in Manchester Village. All are invited to attend this evening of quality entertainment, refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with other community members in an entertaining environment.

  • Students who have signed up for the Gay Straight Alliance, the first meeting is today right after school in the health clinic. At this meeting we will determine the best day and time to meet so if you are interested but unable to attend please see Ms. Burns or Mrs. Rose
  • Ping Pong club meets Monday & Thursday after school in Mr. Sheets’s room.

Program guidelines will be explained and students will be asked to take a pledge to refuse to use, parents will pledge to support their student in this effort.  All kick-off evenings are in the cafeteria from 5:30-6:30 pm.  Parents must be present and sit with their child.  If a student can not attend on their specified class date they need to contact one of their class reps and plan to attend another kick-off event.  A check in the amount of $25 should also be handed in that night. Either made out to Stratton Mountain or Riley Rink depending on what program the student is participating in.  RTU photos from last year are still on file and may be used instead of submitting another photo for this season

  • Bromley seasons pass applications are available in the main office.  Come by and pick one up before October 11th for a discount.
  • Do you have a special artistic talent that you would like to share? The Performing Arts Department announces the first Calliope Café Concert to be held on October 11th, 6:30 PM at the Meeting House Vestry.  Come enjoy an evening of food, music, dance, drama and poetry.

Auditions for any musician, actor, dancer or poet will be held on Tuesday October 3rd in the music room.  Sign up for a time with Mr. Freebern in the music office if you wish to perform.
