• Do you want a say in this year’s prom?  There will be a prom committee meeting Monday, October 15^th after school at 2:45 in Ms.Valentine’s room.  Please join us!
• Any Junior or Senior math students who are interested in being tutors for students in Algebra One, Algebra Two or Geometry should contact Mrs. Niles. This is a community service opportunity.

• Equestrian club meeting is at 2:30 today in Mrs. Muench’s room.
• Seniors-if you will be 18 by November 7^th (Election Day) you can vote if you get registered. Mrs. Ruth Harvey will be here at next Monday’s assembly and will register you after the assembly. You will need some proof of identity and address like a driver’s license, passport or copy of a birth certificate
• Stratton Pass Applications are now available in the main office.

• Next Driver's Ed class begins November 2 and will end December 21.  Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5 to 7 pm.  Call Bill Herrmann at 375-6863 or email mrbill57@adelphia.net
• Burr and Burton Academy will hold its Third Annual Grandparents Day on Friday, October 13. The day¹s schedule offers grandparents a glimpse into the day-to-day life of their grandchildren at high school. They are invited to participate in a variety of different workshops covering a wide variety of subjects. Their visit concludes with a buffet lunch in the Rowland Center cafeteria with their grandchildren. • BBA Film Society is showing 12 Angry Men, starring Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb. It will be showing Thursday October 12th at 6:30pm.
• Attention: All Men’s Lacrosse Players (including freshmen).  Begin preparing for the spring season now by playing indoor lacrosse every Tuesday morning at 6 AM here in the BBA gym.

• Stratton Mountain Job Fair:  On Tuesday, October 17^th, Mrs. Reed, Head of Recruiting from Stratton Mountain Resort, will be at Burr & Burton from 11-1 to talk with students about seasonal job opportunities at Stratton.  The Job Fair will be in the cafeteria during lunch hours so that all students have the opportunity to visit with Mrs. Reed and hear about a wide variety of part time positions and the excellent benefits that the Stratton Mountain Resort has to offer.
