Program guidelines will be explained and students will be asked to take a pledge to refuse to use, parents will pledge to support their student in this effort.  All kick-off evenings are in the cafeteria from 5:30-6:30 pm.  Parents must be present and sit with their child.  If a student can not attend on their specified class date they need to contact one of their class reps and plan to attend another kick-off event.  A check in the amount of $25 should also be handed in that night. Either made out to Stratton Mountain or Riley Rink depending on what program the student is participating in.  RTU photos from last year are still on file and may be used instead of submitting another photo for this season

  • Applications for the October Trip to Louisiana are Due ASAP – please turn in your applications to Mrs. Halnon or Ms. Joyce by the end of the week. 
  • Trash on the Lawn Day service committee will meet on Thursday morning at 7:15am.  Please have your information ready to share with the group
  • Parking lot permits will be distributed during all three lunches beginning Wednesday.  If you have not registered your car and or paid the for a permit you have until this Friday to do so.  Beginning on Monday, October 1, 2006 only those that are registered will be permitted to park in the parking lots.
  • Got clubs?  Wednesday of this week, sign up for clubs in the cafeteria.  See what’s out there & GET INVOLVED!
  • Important announcement for the Clear Brook Farm Service Learning Group.  Our day has been change to Thurs 9/28, 10/5 and 10/12.  Remember to do a journal entry and be thinking of a way to demonstrate what you have experienced in a final project which will be housed with your advisor.  See Mrs. Halnon or Ms. Rose with any questions.  Meet in the faculty parking lot at 2:40 this Thurs. 9/28.   • Bromley seasons pass applications are available in the main office.  Come by and pick one up before October 11th for a discount.
  • Do you have a special artistic talent that you would like to share? The Performing Arts Department announces the first Calliope Café Concert to be held on October 11th, 6:30 PM at the Meeting House Vestry.  Come enjoy an evening of food, music, dance, drama and poetry.

Auditions for any musician, actor, dancer or poet will be held on Tuesday October 3rd in the music room.  Sign up for a time with Mr. Freebern in the music office if you wish to perform.   

  • There will be two meetings for the Haiti plunge program this Thursday, September 28 at 7:20 and 2:30 in Mr. Kochenour’s room. You only need to attend one of the meetings if you are interested in going on the Haiti trip.
