* AUDITIONS FOR THE MUSICAL Wednesday- Friday March 15-17 right after
school: Sign up on the orange poster on the spirit board in the English wing
of the Seminary Building. On Wednesday you will rehearse the vocal piece and
the dance in a group. You will then give your prepared acting audition(s)
with a scene partner in addition to your dance audition. Thursday will be
primarily vocal auditions with acting auditions for those who could not make
it Wednesday. Friday will be for call-backs if necessary. See Mrs. Wright or
Mr. Freebern with any questions and concerns. Anyone interested in doing
tech should come at 12:45 on Wed. as well.
* Dear students: The Youth Employment Office will be closed the week of
March 13th. Please come and see Mrs. Buckley beginning March 20th about
summer job opportunities. It¹s not too soon to be thinking about your
summer plans!!!
* Please remember to see Ms. Valentine with your donation ideas for the
silent auction that will be held this April 7th. Remember: There are great
prizes involved and all proceeds go to our friends in Slidell, Louisiana!
* COME SEE ³VINNY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER² FRIDAY MARCH 17TH AT 7:00PM IN THE
RILEY CENTER! This one act play written by three Burr and Burton students
is BBA¹s entry to the Vermont State One Act festival and the main character
is based on former BBA student, Vinny Annuniziata. The play is a colorful,
fast-paced comedy running about 45 minutes. Tickets are $3 at the door.
* Field Hockey Players: There will be a field hockey meeting this Friday at
12:35 in Ms. McGraw¹s room.
* Girls Basketball Players: There will be a basketball meeting Monday 20th
in Ms. McGraw¹s room
* Juniors: Prom committee will meet this Friday right after school in Mrs.
Aborn¹s office.
* Students who were in Louisiana last week, please meet in the cafeteria
Thurs. afternoon 4:45-5:45. If you can¹t make it please see Mr. Kelly or Ms.
Joyce.
* On Friday March 24 the students will be playing basketball against the
faculty. The Katrina relief committee will also be having a bake sale that
night and are in need of donated drinks, candy, cups, napkins, and baked
goods. Any student willing to donate any of these items should contact Ms.
Strain.
