Due to large numbers of participants 2 extra dates have been added to Event

The first two dates are from 2:45-3:45. The final date is from 12:45-1:45.
All take place in the Hunter Seminar Room.
New fliers are posted around school with the updated information. Any
questions- see your Refuse to Use Rep.


* Extreme Knitting Thursday after school in the Library- All welcome! It is
extremely cool to knit after school!! Any questions- see Tracy Hughes in
the Health Clinic


* Stratton Mountain Winter Job Fair
A Representative from Stratton Mountain will be coming to Burr & Burton on
Wednesday, November 9th to discuss immediate part time job opportunities for
students, faculty & staff. Lots of Winter Fun & Perks!!! The
Representative will be in the cafeteria with Sara Buckley during lunch hours
on Wednesday.


· A Representative from the Gap Outlet will be at Burr & Burton on
Wednesday to discuss job opportunities. They currently have 21 part time,
seasonal, 12 week positions ­ available to students under the age of 18.
Chrissy Fowler, from the Gap Outlet, will be here to answer your questions
and provide applications in the cafeteria during lunch hours.


* Members of the National Honor Society- Please meet on Wednesday morning at
7:15 in the library.


* There will be an extended advisory on Tues. November 8th.


* Please pick up your parking permits in Mr. Prevost¹s office ASAP!!!

* The Freshman class is selling Christmas wreaths beginning today. The
wreaths are 22 inches in diameter, decorated with a red velvet bow and cost
$20.00. Proceeds will benefit the Freshman class. For more information see
class officers Dunja Jovicic, Charlotte Hogan, Anna Brabazon, Lucy Prouty,
Morgan Kelley or Nathan Silva.



* Burr and Burton Academy mandatory winter sports parent-athlete meeting is
scheduled for November 9th. Any student planning to play a winter sport must
attend this meeting with a parent. Please bring insurance information and
current physical if one is not on file here at school. The meeting times and
locations are as follows.
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Snowboarding and Nordic Skiing in the Rowland
Center/Cafeteria
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Alpine Skiing and Dance in the Gymnasium
7:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. Boys and Girls Basketball in the Rowland
